About the Business
Emperor Landscapes is run by owner Nicolas Milne. Prior to studying at Capel Manor Nick worked as a landscape gardener at Gingko landscape contractors, working for the design and build department. A brief injury prompted his decision to take time out and study the craft formally. He graduated from Capel Manor in 2004 with HND Horticulture (landscape design and construction). Afterwards he worked as a self-employed landscape gardener/ maintenance gardener in Sussex for 5 years taking the view that the fastest way to gain experience would be to work in a self employed capacity.department. This was rewarding both personally and financially and has given him an excellent grounding in the Landscape/Horticultural trade, something that he felt would have taken far longer to gain as an employee.
