About the Business
William Gilman-Earle comes from a family of horticulturists, his great-grandfather, G.H. Berry, wrote a book on gentians in addition to creating the National Collection at the Royal Horticultural Society's flagship garden at Wisley. William's grandmother painted the watercolour plates for the book and her expertise in propagation resulted in a primula, (the Primula allionii 'William Earle'), so William's passion for horticulture began early.
Gemma has a history in graphic design and business management which complements their business dynamic. She works closely with William and is a consistent point of contact for clients throughout the project. Gemma shares William's green fingered passion for beautiful gardens and loves nothing more than being surrounded by flowers. She recently expanded her skills by training at Otley College in Suffolk and has qualified as a florist. So, in addition to garden design and landscaping Gilman-Earle Design can now provide clients with a floristry service.
