About the Business
I was born in the town of Barton upon Humber in North Lincolnshire and have worked all over the world gardening and designing gardens and landscape areas. In 2005 I started my own business to turn what I love to do into a career. My parents, grandparents and great grandparents were all involved with horticulture from market gardens to designing gardens in Yorkshire and France. I have to date won one Yorkshire Horticultural Society Bronze medal, three Royal Horticultural Society Silver Medals, one Royal Horticultural Society Silver-Gilt medal and one Gardeners world award for best show garden.
A large part of the gardening work i do is teaching children gardening in schools from maintenance to multinational fruit and vegetable growing. I set up, run and teach school gardens and have many exciting ideas that make school projects stand out from the crowd.
Each day I work as a hands on gardener as I believe this gives me the grounding I need for all the design work that I do.
