About the Business
John is a specialist garden designer and landscaper with a reputation for creating innovative and inspiring gardens. He studied at Capel Manor and is a fully qualified Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers - the only Professional body for Garden Design. Only designers who have completed a rigorous accreditation and appraisal process may use MSGD after their name. He is also a qualified design member of BALI, the British Association of Landscape Industries and a Conservation Surveyor as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has run his practice for over 25 years.
John's creative background is as an architectural designer. For many years his Chartered Building Surveying & Architectural practice served Clients who wished to develop and improve their homes inside and outside by conversion, extension and new build. This led into designing gardens, often in conjunction with the building work so that the house and garden became as one.
