About the Business
Angela's passion for gardens was noticed at an early age when she was often found with her nose in some plant or other or her hands buried in the soil. Throughout her adult life this enthusiasm continued and grew into an ambition to design and create imaginative and beautiful gardens.
With numerous friends and relatives requesting advice or practical assistance in their gardens Angela gave up a fascinating career as Head of Production of natural history and science documentary programmes for broadcasters such as the BBC and National Geographic, and founded Lady Penelope Gardening in 2007.
Drawing her inspiration from the likes of Gertrude Jekyll, Edwin Lutyens and Christopher Lloyd, Angela feels privileged to work in and be involved with many fine gardens.
