About the Business
I am passionate about plants and spatial design, and I take great care in making sure each of my designs gives clients exactly what they want, whether its a contemporary urban chill out garden for a busy professional or a safe, cost effective child friendly space for a new Mum.
I have a BSc 2:1 Botany degree from Manchester, though it wasn't until later in life that my working life involved plants as I spent 10 years in the media industry running a construction, retail and media trade conference business.
I trained during 2009 at KLC school of design in Hampton Court learning about exciting plants to use in gardens, materials and how to specify them, construction techniques that ensure a well built and long lasting garden and contract administration on large build projects. While I was there I won a competition (against 40 fully qualified designers) to create a planting area at Chelsea Flower Show; designing, sourcing and planting a small bed for Design-Nation.
